Who is our ideal Junior Maintenance Team Member?
You will have a passion for this kind of manual work and be keen to pursue a long term career in this field. Some experience and knowledge of using basic tools and basic maintenance techniques is required - we'll aim to build on these skills and expand this knowledge! You'll enjoy working in a team but also be comfortable doing basic tasks independently.
You'll have a 'can do' attitude and be willing to muck in where needed - proving that you are adaptable to the task at hand and open to learning new techniques. You'll have a problem solving nature and remain calm when faced with the unknown!
You'll be diligent and pay attention to the instructions given to ensure that we use time smartly and do not cause unnecessary delays with the jobs at hand.
You'll ideally hold a UK driving licence or be working towards this goal. Your own vehicle is not needed, we have 2 small electric vans that we'd, ideally, like you to be able to drive (though it is not a requirement). You must also be able to cope with the physical demands of this role - you'll regularly be working at heights and using ladders.
Ultimately, this job would suit someone who is looking to develop their skill set, is actively looking for a 'manual' and active role enjoys working in a friendly team environment and who is good at solving maintenance-related problems!
