Quarter are looking for a reliable, fun and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our team on a part time basis at the Square. This position offers 15-20 hours per week, worked over 3 shifts usually falling on a Monday evening, a Friday evening and a Saturday afternoon into evening - so availability for these timings is a must! 

The Square is Bristol's premier private members' club for the media and arts industries. Comprising a successful members' bar, fine dining restaurant, events space and stunning outdoor garden space this is a venue that delivers on many fronts! 

Details of the Kitchen Porter role:

• Part time, 15-20 hours per week (3 shifts, on a rota basis)
• Overtime may be available on occasion
• Hourly rate: from £10.50 to £11.50 per hour plus a share of the service charge (paid monthly)
• Straight shifts only

What will you be doing as Kitchen Porter?

• Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in line with Environmental Health standards (training will be provided)
• Washing up, cleaning all plates, pans and other items (all units have catering dishwashers)
• Putting away orders using good stock rotation practices
• Removing recycling and general waste to outdoor bins

Our ideal Kitchen Porter:

• May have had some prior experience in a similar role - but this is not required as full training will be offered
• Will be a hard worker and comfortable in a fast paced environment
• Will be a friendly and fun member of the team - willing to get stuck in when needed
• Will be reliable and committed to supporting the venues they are working in

Interview process:

The interview process for shortlisted candidates will involve a first round telephone interview with a member of the HR team.
