Quarter is looking for a Graphic Design and Marketing Assistant to join our team on a full time basis. We don’t outsource our marketing – so you’ll get first-hand experience of working on live projects from the word go – from an idea’s inception through to delivery (within budget and on time!).
It’s a very exciting time to be joining Quarter as we have some amazing projects on the go – including the expansion of our hugely successful Square Works, the refurbishment of our flagship hotel, The Berkeley Square and development of our popular Air360 brand – not to mention the day to day work required to ensure our other fantastic hotels get the exposure they deserve!
Key details of this role:
Contracted hours: 40 per week, Monday – Friday - with up to 40% of your working time in any week worked remotely. Hours of work are usually 9am – 5pm with 30 mins for lunch (time flexible).
Salary: £21,000 per annum plus £2,000 annual bonus (paid monthly) based on completion of tasks and overall revenue achieved for the hotel group.
Location: You will be based in our Head office in Clifton
Transport: Car parking is not available, but there are plenty of places to pop your bike or we are on good bus links.
Who are we looking for as Design and Marketing Assistant?
You’re a graduate with an interest in marketing and are keen to get stuck in to a varied role! You will have an aptitude for design and will have experience using Adobe Suite (a portfolio of your work would be a bonus) and Google Analytics. Good copy-writing would also be a bonus! Friendly and driven, you have a keen eye for detail and love working in a team.
We have a work hard, play hard attitude and pride ourselves on getting things done but having fun whilst doing it! You will get experience working on projects large and small all year round and will have the flexibility to juggle multiple projects at any one time.
What will the Design and Marketing Assistant be doing on a day to day basis?
You will be working for the Clifton Hotels, Berkeley Suites, Air360, Clifton Short Lets and Square Works brands – you’ll be used to jumping between all the different projects!
Graphic Design – you’ll be creating eye-catching designs for both print and media campaigns. You’ll work within brand guidelines but will also be able to put your own creative stamp on your work.
Digital Marketing – You will be making regular changes to the website via our CMS (Silverstripe) and will be able to build upon your digital marketing skills by using Google Analytics to track the success of your changes. This will help inform our marketing strategy.
Social Media – You’ll help spread the word about all our brands through engaging posts on our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and more!)

The interview process:
Successful applicants will be contacted by the HR team via email initially – this will be to arrange an informal phone chat about the role. From here you will have a first round, zoom, interview with the Hotels and Development Director and an in-person, final round interview with the Design and Marketing Manager.
