Quarter is looking for a proactive and friendly Seasonal Room Attendants / Cleaners (full or part time - flexible contracts available with guaranteed hours) to join our hotel housekeeping teams. Fixed days may be possible to work around existing commitments.

Salary details:

• £10.25 per hour for shifts worked Monday - Friday and £11 per hour for shifts worked on weekends and Bank Holidays
• Top three room attendants will get a bonus of £100, £50 and £25 respectively at the end of each month
• Monthly pay on the 30th of each month (or nearest working day before if this falls on a weekend or Bank Holiday)
  
• Fixed term contract - starting June and finishing late August or early September to suit

Details of the Seasonal Hotel Room Attendant role:

• Flexible contracts with guaranteed hours - from 10 hours minimum per week (around 2 shifts) to 20-25 hours per week (4-5 shifts)
• Contracts can be seasonal or permanent to suit you
• No zero hours contracts (unless that is what you would prefer)
• Fixed days would be possible for the right candidates
• Daily start time at around 8.30 on weekdays and 9.30am on weekends - you will be working until approximately 3pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends
• Rotas done fortnightly - it would be possible to fit these roles around childcare
• 28 days holiday per annum (including Bank Holidays) pro rata for part time
• Opportunities for progression to supervisor and Head Housekeeper after 3 and 6 months - with additional training provided at each stage

We are, ideally, looking for an immediate start, however it’s more important that we find the right person! A good understanding of English is preferred.

What you’ll be doing as Hotel Room Attendant:

• Ensuring overall guest satisfaction and comfort by providing consistently clean and presentable hotel accommodation
• Making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning surfaces and bathrooms
• The positions involve working independently the majority of the time, and in a small team occasionally.

You’re a hardworking and friendly team player with a strong initiative. Some cleaning or housekeeping experience would be beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided. With an excellent eye for detail, you will have the ability to work independently and unsupervised, and take great pride in your work!

The interview process:

The interview process will involve a first round telephone interview with a member of the HR team. Applicants who are successful at this stage will then be invited in to a short trial (lasting approximately 2 hours).
