The Square is Bristol's private members' club for the creative industries encompassing arts, media and music. We are looking for a personable and proactive Breakfast Manager to join the team and oversee of the breakfast in our in-house restaurant, the Square Kitchen. This is a part time position, offering 22 hours per week over 5 mornings. Key information for the Breakfast Manager role:

Hours: Part time, 22 hours per week worked over 5 short shifts. The successful candidate must be available to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings routinely). This role will involve some weekend work on rotation. All morning shifts, finishing by mid-morning or early afternoon. A fixed schedule may be possible for the right candidate. Please specify in your application whether you would like to be considered for full time or part time hours.

Pay: £11.50 per hour alongside a quarterly, results-based, bonus

A typical week: The majority of your shifts will start at 6.30am (Monday – Friday) or 7.30am (Saturday, Sunday) and finish at 10.30 -11am during the week and 11.30 - 12pm during the weekend. During the breakfast service, you will be mainly catering to guests of the Berkeley Square Hotel, as well as club members.

About our ideal Breakfast Manager:

You’re friendly, outgoing and confident – passionate about providing excellent customer service! This role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar front of house or supervisory role who is looking to take on more responsibility. It will sometimes involve working alone so the ability to make decisions and balance priorities is essential.

This position will report to the General Manager, Dan Keen.

What you’ll be doing as Breakfast Manager:

• Supervising breakfast shifts
• Coordinating a hard-working team whilst always receiving senior support and guidance from the Restaurant Manager and General Manager
• Interacting with guests by welcoming, seating and taking orders
• Responding to questionnaire feedback to ensure the high standards are maintained!
• Holding meetings with your team
• Setting up for the day’s events
