The Square have a fantastic opportunity to join their fine-dining kitchen as a full time Chef de Partie.
Our goal is to have kitchen teams that are happy and productive - our chefs don't work crazy hours, have a supportive Head Chef who is willing to develop the team's skills and ensure a good work life balance, with Christmas off and a rota pattern that you can plan around! This kitchen team is well established and fully staffed. There is an excellent training ethic in this kitchen - progression is very possible for those that have the right attitude and get stuck in!
The Square is Bristol's premier private members' club for the media and arts industries. Comprising a sumptuous members' bar, fine dining restaurant, events space and stunning outdoor garden space this is a venue that delivers on many fronts!
Please note that this opening is also being advertised at Junior Sous Chef level, as our head chef is open to bringing either a strong chef de partie or a junior sous chef into the team.
Hours: Full time - 45 hours per week. You will get 2 days off per week and work predominantly straight shifts.
Pay: £30,552 per annum package. This comprises 12.80 per hour plus approx. £600 per annum service charge bonus. Overtime is paid if worked!
Signing on bonus: You will receive a £250 signing on bonus on completion of a successful probation period.

You’re friendly, confident and a great team player. You love to cook and are passionate about providing our guests with excellent food. You are able to work with great attention to detail and consistency, maintain high standards in all aspects of your role, and are keen to learn and progress!
Ideally, you’ll have some experience within a similar fine-dining kitchen but this is not a requirement - it's more important that you have great skills, a passion for food and the right attitude! You may be a strong commis chef or an existing demi chef de partie looking to take on a new challenge.
