Quarter is over the moon to announce that two of its employees have made it to the finals of Bristol’s Night of the Stars awards.
Agnes Perkowska, House Manager of The Clifton Hotel has been shortlisted in the Heart of House category.
A bit about Agnes
Since starting the role over a decade ago she has cared for the hotel as if it were her home and the staff as if they were family. She always has a smile on her face and is constantly looking for ways the hotel can be improved to ensure the very best guest experience. Anyone who works at The Clifton or visits as a guest will very quickly get to know her hearty laugh and great sense of humour. She is a huge part of the hotel’s character and it really wouldn’t be the same without her!
Jack Chesher, Hotel Manager of The Clifton Hotel has been shortlisted in the Rising Star category.
A bit about Jack.
Jack originally joined Quarter on the graduate scheme around 2 years ago. He excelled on every rotation and was known as someone upbeat and full of enthusiasm. After 10 months he was promoted to Assistant Manager of The Clifton Hotel, 3 months later he was promoted to Operations Manager, and just over 2 months later to Hotel Manager. During his time as Hotel Manager he has been overseeing a refurbishment of almost half the rooms in the hotel. He has done this with ease and ensured that all teams involved in the project have worked together effectively and efficiently. We put this down to his fantastic positive attitude and natural team working skills.
We couldn’t be prouder of our staff and will have everything crossed for the awards night.
Night of the Stars is organised by The Bristol Hoteliers association and allows them to recognise and celebrate performance and talent within the hospitality industry. The celebration will be held on the 25th January when the winners will be announced.
Good luck Agnes and Jack!!
