Yes, we love Bristol. We champion this city more than most and our venues host a wealth of Bristol folk for their celebrations and events.
But every now and again it’s good to have a road trip. In fact, it’s something we do once a year, travelling to small Welsh village to help execute the world’s largest music and philosophy festival.
HowTheLightGetsIn happens every May in Hay-on-Wye. This tiny village is famous for its multiple and maze-like book shops. Every year, it plays host to an international literary festival which, in the last 8 years, has been complimented by the raw, vibrant presence of HowTheLightGetsIn as well.
All of hard working Bristol teams send a few members to Hay each May to help us create pop up bars and restaurants for the festival. Someone has got to keep those festival goers fed and watered!!
Want to come along?
Tickets and camping spaces are available to buy on the festival website.
But for you keen beans out there that want to get a bit more involved, you should consider coming with us to be on team! Every year, we take an eclectic team of talented chefs, event managers, handy men and hospitality folk. It’s an extraordinary time to gain unique experience in a fundamentally FUN environment.
If you want to know more about applying to be on team, get in touch with Julia.
