Quarter is Bristol’s leading independent hospitality group. We have a number of hotels, restaurants and other units all based in Clifton, Bristol. Our IT team is currently based in London (where our sister company, TVF Media, is located) – they work remotely to solve issues in Bristol. Recent expansion, however, has made it clear that we need our own IT guru on site!

Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have an outstanding educational background, with a minimum 2.1 from a top university. While a degree in computer science or a related subject would be advantageous, it is not essential; a genuine interest in and aptitude for IT is paramount. Previous experience in an IT-related role and knowledge of Linux is also desirable.
You will be an analytical problem solver and will have an interest and skill for both hardware and programming. You will have a friendly, confident attitude, and the customer service and communications skills to support people at all levels of the company, working both remotely and in the office. An ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure and juggle multiple responsibilities is essential.

As Helpdesk Advisor, you will provide excellent technical support to the company as the first point of contact for anyone experiencing IT issues. After a three-month training period, you will have developed an in-depth knowledge of our network and the systems we operate. The successful candidate will learn about every element of what it takes to build and run a bespoke IT infrastructure for an award-winning hospitality and media company.
