Calling all early birds!

Quarter are looking for reliable, proactive morning people to join our friendly breakfast teams at Racks Bar & Kitchen and at the Washington Guesthouse (both located on St Paul's Road in Clifton, Bristol).

There is one part time position available in each venue, offering either 10 hours per week (worked over 3 shifts each week) or 12-15 hours per week (worked over 3-4 shifts each week). Shifts will typically start at around 7am on weekdays and 8am on weekends, finishing by around 10.30am on weekdays and 11.30am on weekends. These short shifts will be on a rota basis including weekday and weekend mornings - are​perfect for fitting around other commitments!

​​This role definitely suits early risers as you need to be able to provide great customer service from the word go (although coffee can definitely assist with this!).

Key details of the part time Breakfast Waiting positions:

• Position 1: Based at Racks, offering 10 hours per week worked over 3 short morning shifts (rota based, but for this position we are particularly looking for those with good availability for Tuesday and Thursday mornings as part of their weekly shifts)
• Position 2: Based at the Washington Guesthouse, offering 12-15 hours per week worked over 3-4 short morning shifts
  
• Weekday shifts will be approx. 7am until 10-10.30am
• Weekend shifts will be approx. 8am until 11-11.30am
• £11 - £12.25 per hour

​What does the Breakfast Waiting role involve?

• You’ll be serving breakfast to guests from either the Clifton Hotel (the hotel attached to the Racks) or the Washington Guesthouse.
• Taking orders from guests for hot breakfast food and delivering that food to the table
• Setting up the small continental breakfast buffet and ensuring that remains topped up during the breakfast service; clearing down the buffet when breakfast ends
• Clearing tables to ensure the dining room looks smart at all time
• Assisting with the clear down, and possibly for set up of lunch service or events such as weddings, baby showers etc.

Who are we looking for in a Breakfast Waiting Team Member?

​You'll be an early riser who is able to provide friendly and efficient customer service to all guests from the word go! You will enjoy what you do and find fun in your work, whilst being productive and getting the job done! You'll be efficient and will be a team player - able to help out where needed to ensure overall customer satisfaction. You'll be quite flexible with your availability throughout the week (this is a part time role, so if there is a day or two that you can't do we'll do our best to work around that). We are also looking for people who are reliable and are able to get to the venue by the required start time easily (we are based in Clifton, Bristol - car parking is not available at our venues but there is ample bike parking).
