Pizza on the Park is a popular Italian and Pizza restaurant at the top of Park Street. Our team of chefs have developed a menu that is truly mouth watering and we are looking for a Commis Chef to join our team on a full time basis in our cold kitchen.
You will get great variety in this role. The cold kitchen is part of our open kitchen and you will be working on our salads, starters and desserts.
Hours: Full time, 40-42 hours per week worked over 3.5 - 4 shifts per week
Shift pattern: You will usually be working 3 longer days and one half day per week. Shifts start at around 9am and finish at around 10pm. When working a longer day, you'll have 1-2 hour break during the day. The half day is worked at some point between 9am and 10pm. This sounds complicated, but the reality is that you usually get 3.5 days off per week!
Salary: £10.90 per hour plus monthly service charge/ tips which are shared between front and back of house
Signing on bonus: You will receive a £200 signing on bonus in your first pay

The interview process:
The interview process will involve a first round telephone interview with a member of the HR team. Applicants who are successful at this stage will then be invited in to a short, paid, trial (lasting approximately 3 hours).
