Quarter are looking for temporary Kitchen Porter to join the kitchen team at  The Square, Racks Bar & Kitchen, No.4 Clifton Village and Pizza on the Park on a seasonal, fixed-term basis starting this November! 

These Kitchen Porter roles are offered with flexible part time contracts (hours options include 10 hours per week, 18 hours per week and 20 hours per week). Contracts will start from approx. 20th November and will run until, ideally, 23rd December, but we are also open to considering those who can work up to around 20th December (rest assured, no work on Christmas day!).

Experience in similar, fast-paced positions is ideal but not a requirement - a positive attitude, team player mentality and plenty of energy are a must, though!

Key information for our Seasonal Kitchen Porter positions:

• Based at The Square, Racks Bar & Kitchen, No.4 Clifton Village or Pizza on the Park
• Temporary seasonal role - starting from approx. 20th November.
  
• Contracts will run to 23rd December or a few days before, depending on your availability (no work on Christmas!). 
  
• Flexible contracts from part time to full time, offering from 10 hours per week up to 20+ hours per week (and several options in between) - we're happy to work with you to find something that fits!
  
• From £11.00 to £12.25 per hour plus service charge
• Washing up and general kitchen help in a festive, busy environment for Christmas dining events
• Weekly rotas to include evening and weekend work
  
• Free meals on duty!

What will you be doing as Seasonal Kitchen Porter?

• Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in line with Environmental Health standards (training will be provided)
• Washing up, cleaning all plates, pans and other items (all units have catering dishwashers)
• Putting away orders using good stock rotation practices
• Removing recycling and general waste to outdoor bins
• Potential for supporting the chefs with some basic food preparation
  

Who are we looking for in our Seasonal Kitchen Porters?

• Will ideally have had some prior experience in a similar role 
• Will be a hard worker and comfortable hitting the ground running in a fast paced environment
• Will be a friendly and fun member of the team - willing to get stuck in!
• Will be reliable and committed to supporting the venue they are working in
