Quarter is looking for a reliable, fun, and hard-working Kitchen Porter to join our team at Pizza on the Park. This is a part-time position, offering 20 hours per week worked​over 4-5 short shifts (rota-based). You'll be working in a well-equipped kitchen with an excellent, supportive, and friendly team (from back of house to front of house!).

Details of the Kitchen Porter role:

• Based at Pizza on the Park on Park Street in Clifton, Bristol
• 20 hours per week, usually worked over 4-5 short shifts per week, on a rota basis. Daytime shifts start around 11:30am-11:45am and finish at 3:00pm-3:30pm. Evening shifts start around 5:00pm-6:00pm and finish at 10:30pm-11:00pm.
• ​From £11.00 - £12.25 per hour

What will you be doing as Kitchen Porter?

• Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in line with Environmental Health standards (training will be provided)
• ​Washing up, cleaning all plates, pans and other items (both by hand, and using a catering dishwasher)
• ​Putting away orders using good stock rotation practices
• ​Removing recycling and general waste to outdoor bins
  
• On occasion, you may be involved in very basic food preparation (peeling, chopping etc)

Our ideal Kitchen Porter:

• May have had some prior experience in a similar role, but this is not required as full training will be offered
• Will have good availability across the week, including weekends (as this is a part time role, we are of course able to work around any days where you can't work due to other commitments, within reason!)
• Will be a hard worker and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Will be a friendly and fun member of the team - willing to get stuck in!
• Will be reliable and committed to supporting the venue they are working in
