Quarter is looking for a proactive and team-oriented Housekeeping Manager for our beautiful flagship hotel, the Berkeley Square Hotel and Berkeley Suites.
Bristol’s first art hotel, the Berkeley Square is a stylish and comfortable four-star hotel on one of Clifton’s most iconic Georgian squares. As Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for the management of our Housekeeping department, ensuring housekeeping operations run smoothly across the main hotel as well as within the suites. From ensuring that our hotel looks its best, to completing health and safety checks (water temps etc) and keeping your team happy, motivated and well-trained - this is an exciting role with a great scope of responsibility! You will be managing a team of approx. 7 dedicated room attendants and will be a key part of the management team at the Berkeley Square.
Hours: Full time (40 hours per week, usually working Monday-Friday, but some flexibility for occasional weekends to support the team would be ideal)
Salary: An on-target package of £29,250 per annum, comprising a basic salary of £26,750 per annum, plus £1000 guaranteed loyalty bonus - paid in 2 x £500 amounts (the first one after 6 months with the company and then every 6 months thereafter) and £1,500 KPI on-target bonuses
As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for the effective operation and development of the housekeeping department - ultimately ensuring that the hotel looks its best at all times!
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and who can share their passion with their team. You'll be organised and proactive - ensuring that all regular cleaning happens to schedule. You'll be able to prioritise effectively and will communicate well with other departments to ensure everyone is kept in the loop.
We're looking for a person who can be hands-on as well as act in a supervisory role - this is a small team and we like everyone to have a 'muck-in and help' mentality!
