Racks Bar & Kitchen have a fantastic opportunity to join their kitchen team as a full time Chef de Partie.

We’re on the hunt for a passionate, talented Chef de Partie to join our friendly brigade at Racks Bar & Kitchen - a high-energy restaurant and bar with a big reputation for fresh, seasonal food, vibrant service and a buzzing atmosphere.

As our new Chef de Partie, you’ll be joining a supportive and experienced kitchen team where hard work is balanced with good vibes, proper hours and space to grow. We’re serious about food - everything’s made fresh and with care, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Service types range from everyday lunch and dinner service as well as events from wedding receptions to private parties and summer barbecues out on our massive road-side terrace! Your day-to-day will be varied, rewarding, and full of flavour.

• Package of £34,500, comprising a basic salary of £31,000 per year + £3,500 on-target annual bonuses

What you’ll be doing as Chef de Partie:

• Prep, cook, and plate up for our à la carte and events menus
  
• Help lead sections and support junior chefs
• Keep things tight and tidy during service
• Bring the energy, passion that makes the kitchen tick

• Solid experience in fresh food, high-quality kitchens 
• A friendly personality and a team-player attitude
  
• A calm, positive approach - even when the pass is on fire
• Ambition, a sense of humour, and a genuine love for food (a sense of humour wouldn't go amiss too!)

This role is perfect for an existing Chef de Partie ready to get stuck into a new challenge, or a strong Junior CDP looking for the next step up in their career. We're looking for someone who is keen to join a forward-thinking kitchen where quality and creativity are the name of the game.
