We are looking for an engaging, fun and customer-focused and proactive Assistant Manager to join our fantastic team on a full time basis at Racks Bar & Kitchen.

Key information for the Assistant Manager role:

Hours: Full time, 42 hours per week

Salary: Package of £30,210 per annum, comprising a basic salary of £27,100 per annum plus approx £3,110 per annum in service charge / Tronc (paid monthly)

Shift pattern: You will work 5 shifts a week to a rota (to include weekends). There is usually one split shift a week. You will be the manager on duty on rotation with the other shift managers.

About our ideal Assistant Manager:

You'll be a key part of the management team at Racks Bar & Kitchen - working closely with the General Manager and Front of House Manager to ensure that Racks continues to deliver fantastic experiences for our customers. Prior experience in a supervisory or duty management role is definitely a plus but the right personality and attitude is what we are looking for above all else! As such talented and confident front of house team members who feel ready to take that next step towards leadership are welcome to apply!

What you’ll be doing as Assistant Manager:

• Duty management of our restaurant - working a mixture of day and evening shifts (this is a bar - it's likely that you'll be working most weekends and the majority of your shifts will be evening)
• Checking guest feedback - both through our in-house questionnaires and from online forums and responding as needed.
• Training, holding one-to-one meetings and motivating your team to ensure they provide great service.
• Maintaining high standards of quality control
• Cash handling and daily cash ups
• Contributing ideas to keep Racks improving!
