As a Chef within Quarter's community of independent restaurants you will be part of a high performing team producing high quality dishes. Key information our Chef positions:
Hours: Part time or full time - from 20 to 45 hours per week. You will get at least 2 days off per week and work straight shifts only.
Hourly rate: from £8.00 (apprentice rate) up to £10.20 per hour depending on position, plus monthly service charge/tips
Signing on bonus: You will receive a £500 signing on bonus in your first pay (gross)!
A typical week - As an apprentice chef or commis chef you will be part of a close team who work hard to get the job done but have fun at the same time! Progression to Demi-Chef de partie or Chef de Partie would be available for those who perform well! You will get experience in all sections of the kitchen.

Ideally, you’ll have some experience within a kitchen but this is not a requirement - it's more important that you have , a passion for food and the right attitude! As long as you're full of passion, energy and enjoy working hard but having fun while doing so, we want to hear from you!
This role would suit someone who has just finished college or, alternatively, who is looking to start college in September - we could give you a good understanding of kitchen life over the summer and then will support you through your apprenticeship or catering course.

The interview process:
The interview process will involve a first round telephone interview with a member of the HR team. Applicants who are successful at this stage will then be invited in to a short trial (paid), lasting approximately 2-3 hours, where social distancing measures will be adhered to. We reserve the right to close this role before the given deadline in the event a suitable candidate is found.
