Quarter is looking for a part time Kitchen Porter to join the team at Racks Bar & Kitchen. This role offers between 14 and 16 hours per week worked over two shifts. Overtime is available on occasion. Availability on Friday and Saturday daytimes between 9am and 4pm would be an advantage. 

Details of the Kitchen Porter role:

• Based at Racks Bar & Kitchen in Clifton, Bristol
  
• Racks position: 14-16 hours per week, usually worked over 2 shifts, on a rota basis. Daytime shifts start around 9am or 10am until 3pm or 5pm, and evening shifts tend to start around 3pm or 5pm until 10:30 or 11pm. Availability on Friday and Saturday daytimes would be an advantage.
  
• ​From £11.00 - £12.25 per hour plus a share of the service charge at the venue

What will you be doing as Kitchen Porter?

• Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen in line with Environmental Health standards (training will be provided)
• ​Washing up, cleaning all plates, pans and other items (all units have catering dishwashers)
• ​Putting away orders using good stock rotation practices
• ​Removing recycling and general waste to outdoor bins
  
• On occasion, you may be involved in very basic food preparation (peeling, chopping etc)

Our ideal Kitchen Porter:

• May have had some prior experience in a similar role, but this is not required as full training will be offered
• Will have good availability across the week, including weekends (as this is a part time role, we are of course able to work around any days where you can't work due to other commitments, within reason!)
• Will be a hard worker and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Will be a friendly and fun member of the team - willing to get stuck in!
• Will be reliable and committed to supporting the venue they are working in
