Racks Bar & Kitchen are looking for a personable and proactive Breakfast Supervisor to join their team and help oversee the breakfast service.

Part of Quarter, an independent hospitality group in Clifton, Racks has a reputation for friendly, fun service delivered with a smile, great food and a fantastic atmosphere! This is a part time position, offering 15-20 hours per week across approx. 5 short morning shifts (rota based). If you're looking for a part time role where all of your shifts are done and dusted early doors leaving your afternoons and evenings free for other commitments, then read on!

Key information for the Breakfast Supervisor role:

Hours: part time, 15-20 hours per week (usually worked over 5 short morning shifts), on a rota basis to include weekends. All morning shifts, finishing by mid-morning. Due to these part time hours spreading across 5 short shifts, good availability across the week will be ideal.

Pay: £12.30 per hour, plus service charge (approx. £1,078 per annum, paid monthly). Any overtime hours (for example, on occasion you may have the option to extend some shifts to also help out with lunch service) will be paid at the standard front of house pay rate

A typical week: Your shifts will start from approx. 6am (weekdays) or 7am (weekends). You will usually finish by either 10:30am or 11:30am. During the breakfast service, you will be mainly catering to guests of Racks' adjacent hotel, the Clifton Hotel, as well as members or the public.

About our ideal Breakfast Supervisor:

You’ll be a friendly, outgoing and confident morning person – passionate about providing excellent customer service! This role would suit someone with previous experience in a similar front of house or supervisory role who is looking to take on more responsibility. You will be supervising a small team, so the ability to make decisions and balance priorities is essential.

What you’ll be doing as Breakfast Supervisor:

Reporting to our fabulous Breakfast Manager, Ellie Clarke, our new Breakfast Supervisor can expect to be involved in the following...

• Supervising breakfast shifts, ensuring the breakfast operation runs smoothly
• Coordinating a small team whilst always receiving senior support and guidance from the Breakfast Manager and the General Manager
• Interacting with guests by welcoming, seating and taking orders
• Responding to questionnaire feedback to ensure the high standards are maintained
• Training new team members
• Liaising with the hotel reception to ensure that hotel guests are charged correctly (as well as taking payments for non-hotel guests)
