Racks Bar & Kitchen are looking for a confident and fun Chef de Partie to join the team on a full time basis! Successful candidates will get a £500 signing on bonus and paid overtime.

As Chef de Partie you will be part of a high performing team of chefs producing high quality dishes for Racks Bar & Kitchen. This hugely popular venue, based on St Paul's Road boasts Bristol's finest outdoor terrace, and a fantastic, newly refurbished bar and restaurant area inside. As a chef in our kitchen, every day will be different - we host a wide variety of events as well as the normal day to day trade.

Key information for the Chef de Partie role:
Hours: Full time - 45 hours per week. You will get 2 days off per week and work straight shifts only.
Hourly rate: Package of £25,000 - £26,500 including bonuses and service charge
Signing on bonus: You will receive a £500 signing on bonus split across your first two pay periods
A typical week - As Chef de Partie at Racks Bar & Kitchen you will be part of a close team who work hard to get the job done but have fun at the same time! You will be helping to supervise more junior chefs and will also get to contribute ideas to menus.

You’re friendly, confident and a great team player. You love to cook and are passionate about providing our guests with excellent food. You are able to work at pace, maintain high standards in all aspects of your role, and are keen to learn and progress!
Ideally, you’ll have some experience within a similar busy kitchen but this is not a requirement - it's more important that you have great skills, a passion for food and the right attitude! You may be a strong demi-chef de partie or an existing chef de partie looking to take on a new challenge.

The interview process:
The interview process will involve a first round telephone interview with a member of the HR team. Applicants who are successful at this stage will then be invited in to a short trial (paid), lasting approximately 2 hours, where social distancing measures will be adhered to.
