We're looking for a confident, proactive Community Host (fixed term for 6 months) with excellent people skills and a flair for sales and marketing to join our front desk team at Square Works.

Square Works offers the only high-end and fully serviced offices and co-working space with an adjacent private members’ club in Bristol. The successful candidate will be involved in meeting and greeting our members at Square Works and will get involved in exciting outreach and marketing tasks.

Key details for the Community Host (fixed term) position:

• Fixed term contract with a 6-month duration
• Full time, 40 hours per week (worked over 5 days, Monday-Friday)
  
• The schedule will usually involve working 9am-5pm or 8am-4pm, and on more rare occasions working 11am-7pm.
• ​Package of £27,480, comprising a basic salary of £25,480 plus £2000 in on-target bonuses

What will you be doing as Community Host (fixed term)?

• ​Welcoming visitors and members – creating a welcoming environment and developing relationships that reflect the Square Works vision
• Assisting in the marketing for Square Works, predominantly through but not limited to social media channels, to maximise enquiries and build brand awareness
• Upselling add-ons (meeting room bookings, virtual office, phone answering, car park)
• Conducting viewings for hot desk and dedicated desk enquiries - communicating your knowledge of the space with confidence
• ​Completing the member on-boarding process by setting up members on the different systems and preparing welcome packs
  
• Gathering information from members about their company's growth and anticipating any desk/office moves 
• Assisting the Community Lead in meeting KPI targets regarding social media posts
• Using the member’s portal to ensure that all member’s enquiries are handled quickly and efficiently
• ​Responding to phone/email enquiries on reception by referring them to the right person (Head of Community, Community Manager, Facilities and Operations Manager or Community Lead)
• ​Maintaining accurate and timely administration records of work tasks on front of house daily reports and weekly meetings, to ensure all information is handed over correctly and followed up efficiently
• ​Assisting Community team with events planning, setting up and hosting.
  
• ​Handling any complaints effectively and in line with the Square Works guidelines

What are we looking for in our Community Host?

You will excel at customer service; have a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude, a positive nature and an unflappable temperament. You will be a confident communicator and be a fantastic advocate for the Square Works brand and values. In this role, we are particularly interested in candidates who can bring a flair and aptitude for sales and marketing, with a good grasp of social media - full of energy and ideas to support the team in driving outreach and sign-ups to the space. 

You’ll be extremely organised and able to handle the administrative side of the role whilst coping with any interruptions that may occur if members have questions. You will also show exceptional attention to detail, be trustworthy and have a great sense of humour!
