We are looking for an enthusiastic Commis Chef (cold kitchen - salads, sides, desserts) to join our friendly kitchen team at Pizza on the Park. This full time position (42 hours per week worked over 3.5 shifts) offers a fantastic learning experience to an entry-level chef who knows the basics and is looking to take on a new challenge and that next step in their career!

Our goal is to have kitchen teams that are happy and productive - our chefs don't work crazy hours, have a supportive Head Chef who is willing to develop the team's skills and ensure a good work life balance, with Christmas off and a rota pattern that you can plan around! There is an excellent training ethic in this kitchen - progression is very possible for those that have the right attitude and get stuck in!
As Commis Chef, you'll be working in our cold kitchen - helping produce the delicious salads, sides and desserts that accompany our mouth-watering pizzas and other Italian dishes!
Hours: 42 hours per week (over 3.5 shifts per week, with 3.5 days off per week - a pattern that allows a fantastic work-life balance!)
Salary: £11.60 per hour plus monthly service charge
You’re friendly, confident and a great team player. You love to cook with fresh, quality ingredients and are passionate about providing our valued customers with excellent food. You are able to maintain high standards in all aspects of your role, and are keen to learn and progress! You will be looking to get valuable experience within a fast-paced team where you'll get to be involved in service from the word go - not preparing veggies all day!

The interview process will involve a first round telephone interview with a member of the HR team.
